CMA Awards 2019 Live

CMA Awards 2019 Live : The 2019 CMA Awards winners have begun to be announced, and some of the year’s most deserving artists have already scored big wins in some key categories.

Kacey Musgraves, Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus are among the early CMA Awards winners who were announced on Wednesday morning (Nov. 13) during a special episode of Good Morning America that aired live from Nashville. Maddie & Tae joined host Lara Spencer to reveal two initial categories in country music’s most prestigious awards show, with Musgraves taking home Music Video of the Year for “Rainbow,” while Lil Nas X and Cyrus won Musical Event of the Year for their joint remix of “Old Town Road.”

Maren Morris and Brothers Osborne are among those with the most nominations in 2019. Morris leads the pack with six nods, followed by Brothers Osborne with four. Dierks Bentley, Eric Church, Luke Combs, Dan + Shay, Musgraves, Blake Shelton, Chris Stapleton and Carrie Underwood all scored three nominations apiece.

Underwood is among the nominees for Entertainer of the Year, breaking a streak of two years where no women were nominated in the night’s biggest category.

The 2019 CMA Awards will take place Wednesday night in Nashville, airing live from the Bridgestone Arena at 8PM ET on ABC. Carrie Underwood is returning to host, but Brad Paisley is sitting it out in 2019, with Reba McEntire and Dolly Parton joining Underwood as special co-hosts this year.
